CNET’s Rafe Needleman celebrates [1] the 35th anniversary of the introduction of the Apple II with a few anecdotes from his days as a high schooler selling computers as a summer job at the local Computer Connection store. Discussed are Dan Bricklin’s [2] killer app, VisiCalc; Todd Rundgren’s Utopia Graphics Tablet System [3]; and a Corvus 10 Meg hard disk system [4] that literally flamed out in spectacular fashion.
