Several weeks ago, David Finnigan (of MacGUI City) announced that he would soon offer a free webhosting solution for Apple II users, and started a private beta.  Today, Finnigan’s new service went live.  Here’s what he offers:

Apple II web and blog hosting is now available at a2hq.com, a service of Mac GUI.

Existing Mac GUI City users may create a web hosting account via the Web Services page in the Preferences.

New users may sign up here:
http://www.a2hq.com/

Each account features:

- 200 MB storage
- WordPress blog
- Photo Gallery
- FTP access
- Unlimited bandwidth
- No ads
- yourname.a2hq.com subdomain

The system is entirely self-serve. You can have your site set up in less than 10 minutes. In order to discriminate against non-Apple II users, new account creators will be required to answer a knowledge-based question.
