December 2003 Technical Notes available in PDF format

We’ve posted Syndicomm’s December 2003 update to the Apple II Technical Notes in our public FTP area. This is a complete set of PDF files for every one of the technical notes, including some that have been updated.Syndicomm has also announced plans to release another update to the Technical Notes in March, and asks that suggestions for corrections to existing notes, or for new notes, to be sent to a2pro@syndicomm.com..

MazezaM game updated to work on Apple IIGS

QForth 2.4 released

A new update to QForth squashes a nasty bug in the +loop word. In addition to the language files, you can download the Merlin assembler source code, examples and glossary. There is also a minimal version that can be ported to other 65C02 systems..

Ventzislav Tzvetkov releases MazezaM game for Apple II

MazezaM is a maze puzzle game for 8-bit Apple II computers; it runs in DOS 3.3 and comes as a bootable DSK image.The game looks like fun, but we were unable to play it on either the Sweet16 emulator or the Virtual ][ emulator. However, it does work for other people we’ve talked to, and they’re enjoying it very much, so give it a try..

A QForth update from the past

Ron Kneusel has released QForth 2.3. Although the bug-fix update is not new, it has not been available until now. Also offered are several additional files that add functionality, including words to read the IIGS clock and run a few timers. QForth is an Apple II PRODOS-8 implementation of the Forth programming language, and can create standalone SYS or BIN applications..
