Earlier this month, Jeff Fink released a new version of Silvern Castle, his acclaimed fantasy role-playing game for the Apple II. This update includes three bug fixes, six interface and gameplay changes, and five new features, including a new spell and a new camp command.

Silvern Castle has benefitted from Jeff’s dedication as it has evolved from its initial, impressive v1.0 release in July 1999 to its current version. This latest release is Silvern Castle’s first update in more than two years and is available in formats compatible with Apple II computers and emulators. Download it from the official Silvern Castle Web site, and discuss the changes as well as your efforts to spelunk the game’s dungeons in the Silvern Castle Google Group.
