Glenn Jones has posted an update to his workbench blog and talks about his progress designing the next generation Uthernet adapter. Kudos to Glenn for keeping Ethernet on the Apple II alive.
There is buzz on usenet comp.sys.apple2 about a clone of the Applicard being developed. The Applicard is generally considered to be the best, most feature-rich Z80 board ever produced for the Apple II. With a Z80 board, your Apple can access a significant library of CP/M based applications.
Speaking of CP/M, we reported earlier that Brutal Deluxe was working on an enhanced Apple 5.25 FST. A new progress report was recently posted and… apparently it’s reading CP/M already. Those guys work fast.
I’d like to work that fast… I was supposed to post this article yesterday. (Sorry)
