Jim Salmons has announced The Softalk Apple Project, a site dedicated to preserving one of the most iconic (and ironically short-lived) Apple II magazines ever published.
At just four volumes, there are still over 9,100 pages of features, tips, reviews, advertising and Apple II history to be OCR scanned, edited (via crowd-sourcing) and eventually published as PDF and web issues. Look for an upcoming Kickstarter project to fund the team’s efforts.
