Ewen Wannop of Spectrum and SIS fame has released updates to two of his Apple IIGS utilities.

Ten years after its first release, the file- and byte- editor ChewBagger now includes a volume block editor. With this feature, ChewBagger v1.3.0 can search an entire ProDOS or DOS 3.3 disk for a hexadecimal or ASCII string and then edit it.

Desktop Alarm NDA v4.0.1 also has a new option: if the clock is in a floating window, it can automatically close when leaving the Finder and reopen when the Finder is relaunched.

Both programs, as well as a PDF of ChewBagger’s manual, can be found on Wannop’s website.
