Matt Portune’s front end for ActiveGS was updated to incorporate the newest ActiveGS changes as well as adding intelligent disk image and boot slot handling. Apple IIGS Explorer lets you run several hundred Apple II programs and games through a web browser. Internet Explorer and Microsoft Windows are required.Detailed changes include:

  • intelligent disk image & boot slot handling (makes it easier for the novice to get started, as well as less clicking for the seasoned veteran)
  • putting a single disk application in a drive 2 device (slot 5 or 6) will automatically move it to drive 1
  • if only one disk is installed, the boot slot will find it and set itself accordingly
  • booting to slot 5 with a title that requires System 6.0.1 will automatically boot System 6.0.1 in slot 7 with the slot 5 title mounted
  • slot 5 titles which require first booting from System 6.0.1 now have an asterisk (*) in front of their name
