cc65 cross development compiler v2.11.0 released

Ullrich von Bassewitz announced cc65 version 2.11.0 is now available for download. cc65 is a complete cross development package for 65(C)02 systems, including a powerful macro assembler, a C compiler, linker, librarian and several other tools.

cc65 has C and runtime library support for many of the old 6502 machines, including the Apple II (and other microcomputers). See the website for complete details on this release.

ProForth unearthed for the Apple II

John Matthews ported the Forth language to ProDOS back in the mid-1980s for the Apple-Dayton User Group. Known as ProForth, it’s a free download from his website.

Princeton Apple II Users Group to meet on September 9th

The Princeton, New Jersey, Apple II Users Group will meet at 7:30 PM in Dave Ciotti’s basement. The topic of the meeting is undecided at this point, so be sure to be there when the mystery is resolved!

GSE-Reactive has updated their website and they are now taking orders for products (///SHH Systeme MicroDrive, NoSlot Clock). Additional product selections are anticipated to be available very soon. UPDATE: GSE-Reactive has announced that their new Mockingboard clone will be available September 16, for $65 USD.
