Today Syndicomm released its new Apple IIgs Internet Starter Kit, a single floppy disk that includes the latest version of the Marinetti TCP/IP stack as well as an assortment of Internet-related software, including the Arachnid web browser, GWFTP FTP utility, the VNCView GS VNC viewer program, and much more.

All subscribers’ copies of the latest issue of Juiced.GS magazine have been mailed to subscribers. The issue includes an interview with Mike Westerfield of The Byte Works, as well as a retrospective of Apple’s first 30 years, reviews, and more.
The April meeting of PAUG will take place starting at 7:30 PM on Friday, April 14th, in Dave Ciotti’s basement. The meeting will center around “iTunes for iDiots,” but Apple II users are always welcome.
Henry S. Courbis of GSE-Reactive.com has posted pictures of their modern clone of the Apple Revision C SCSI card. The card isn’t stable yet. Even after it’s completed, they don’t anticipate much demand for it compared to their planned Apple High Speed or RamFAST SCSI clones, but Henry says that this has been invaluable learning experience that will help them with their future projects.
Some enterprising souls created an edible replica of the Apple I housed in the Smithsonian’s collection. Yumm!
