Juiced.GS Volume 15, Issue 3 now available

Juiced.GS V15I3Volume 15, Issue 3 (September 2010) of Juiced.GS, the longest-running Apple II publication in print, shipped today to all subscribers. This issue features reviews of both Ewen Wannop’s SAM2 email client and Jason Scott’s Get Lamp documentary; complete KansasFest 2010 coverage; a behind-the-scenes look at Martin Haye’s winning HackFest entry; and the third in a five-part series on transferring files between the Apple II and other computers, with Tony Diaz and Ivan Drucker detailing AppleShare networking options.

This is Juiced.GS‘s third quarterly issue of 2010. Annual subscriptions for both 2010 and 2011 are available for $19 each for United States customers and $26 for international customers.

Juiced.GS in 2011, online index, and digital issues

Juiced.GS, the last remaining Apple II publication in print, announced at KansasFest 2010 that it will continue to publish in 2011. Subscriptions and renewals for its sixteenth annual volume are currently being accepted. Prices are $19 for United States customers and $26 for international.

Acknowledging the history behind its status as the longest-running Apple II print publication, Juiced.GS has catalogued its first fifteen years of content into an online index. Search, sort, and download listings of over 700 articles, or drill down from volume to issue to article.

Selected previously published Juiced.GS content has been compiled into thematic issues known as Juiced.GS Concentrate. For the first time ever, readers can purchase and download this magazine’s content in PDF format with full-color graphics, text and code that can be copied and pasted, and bookmarks. The launch lineup of Concentrates include issues on BASIC programming, TCP/IP programming, and podcasting, with prices currently ranging from $5 to $12 based on the amount of content.

Juiced.GS Volume 13, Issue 4 now available

Juiced.GS V13I4Volume 13, Issue 4 (December 2008) of Juiced.GS, the last remaining Apple II publication in print, shipped today to all subscribers. This issue features an interview with Ben Heckendorn, creator of the laptop Apple IIGS; a review of Dungeons and Desktops, a history of computer role-playing games; a how-to for converting MOD music files to MP3 format; the conclusion of Antoine Vignau‘s dissection of copy protection schemes; and much, much more!

This is Juiced.GS‘s fourth and final quarterly issue of 2008. The complete volume is now available at the discounted rate of $16, while 2009 subscriptions are being accepted at $19 for United States customers and $26 for international customers.

Juiced.GS free sample issue — with KFest 2008 coverage!

Juiced.GS has given us a Halloween treat with a new 12-page sample issue! This PDF features content taken from the magazine’s first and third issues of Volume 13 (2008), including an interview with Dan Budiac, who bought an Apple IIc off eBay for $2,553; a review of the MicroDrive/Turbo card from ReactiveMicro.com; and KansasFest 2008 coverage. The PDF is available immediately as a free download from the Juiced.GS Web site.

Juiced.GS publishes four 20-page issues of Apple II news, reviews, interviews, and features every year. Subscriptions for 2008 and 2009 are currently being accepted at the Juiced.GS online store.
