Aurora Area Apple Core to meet October 11th
The AAAC will meet on Thursday, October 11th, at 7:00 PM at 900 North Lake Street in Aurora, Illinois, in the basement community room. This month’s presentation is by one of the members, who won’t tell anyone what he’s planning to demonstrate.

Syndicomm starts some auctions
Syndicomm today started several new auctions, including a copy of AppleWorks, an AppleColor Composite Monitor, a few games, and Quicken for the Apple II.
Apple II History site updated
Steven Weyhrich, the editor of the Apple II History web site, has been granted permission to reproduce two two-part articles about or by Steve Wozniak. One is a two-part interview with Woz done by BYTE Magazine in 1984, and the seond is a two-part transcript of Woz’s speech to the Apple World convention in 1986.
SAFE Spectrum-based FTP program updated to version 1.1
Ewen Wannop announced today that his SAFE FTP program, which runs within Spectrum, has been updated to version 1.1. The new version fixes a bug when double-clicking the list to navigate folders. The update can be downloaded from his web site.
Vintage Computer Festival 5.0 postponed indefinitely
As a result of the terrorist attacks on the United States, the Vintage Computer Festival scheduled for this weekend in the Silicon Valley has been postponed until further notice.
