Geoff Weiss releases ping 1.1 utility
Geoff Weiss has updated his command-line ping utility to version 1.1. The new version fixes some text errors, directs error output to stderr, provides an argument to get the version number, and supports output redirection. At this time, it’s only available in the file library in the A2 forum on Syndicomm Online.

Ernest has quite the collection of Apple II clones. His site has hundreds of images and info on Apple II clones from all over the world. Recently added to the site is a section on Franklin Computers; employees of the company have posted stories and memorabilia.

Geoff Weiss releases updated Time Zone Control Panel and Tool Set
The latest version of the Time Zone Tool Set and Control Panel has been released. Version 1.0.4 has been updated to clean up the code internally. The software is currently available for download in Syndicomm Online’s Apple II file library, which is available only to members. It’s in the system_software/misc_16-bit/tools directory.

Geoff Weiss updates Hash Tool Set
Geoff Weiss has released version 1.0.2 of the Hash Tool Set, fixing a bug that would crash if the data bank register and program bank register were different. This is a must-have update if you use the Hash Tool Set (such as if you use CHAP authentication in PPP while using Marinetti).
