The 35th annual KansasFest is now underway! Attendees began arriving at the University of Springfield Illinois on Monday, July 15, before official sessions began on Wednesday, including yesterday’s talk by Apple alumnus Rich Williams and today’s by Jordan Mechner.
This is the first KansasFest ever to not be held in Kansas City, Missouri; despite the break in tradition, attendance is up about 20% from last year’s event, demonstrating an unwavering eagerness for KansasFest’s soldering sessions, esoteric information dumps, and doughnut runs.
A YouTube livestream of KansasFest panels and presentations is available to registrants of both the in-person event and next week’s A24eVR virtual event. Registration for A24eVR is only $20 and comes with access to the Discord community, where online and offline attendees engage in real-time chat about KansasFest sessions.
And, in case you missed it, all of 2023’s sessions were uploaded to YouTube as discrete videos just last month!
