WOzFest, a semi-regular one-day gathering of Apple II users in Sydney, Australia, has announced its dates for 2025.
There will be five WOzFest events next year, all of them on Saturdays:
122625–27 April 202524 May14 June 2025- 26 July 2025
- 27 September 2025
- 22 November 2025
The April event will mark the tenth anniversary of the first WOzFest, held in April 2015. Special guests are slated to attend this milestone event, and ideas are being solicited for other ways to celebrate.
Unlike KansasFest, which has plenty of structured sessions and formal presentations, WOzFest often consists of dedicated workshop time for retrocomputing enthusiasts to work on their hobby projects with help from fellow geeks. WOzFest nonetheless has a track record of historic announcements, such as the 4play and 4soniq cards.
WOzFest is hosted by Sean McNamara; find more details about upcoming events on his website.
