AtariArchives.org has released the complete text of three classic computer books filled with type-in game programs in BASIC. The books are available free online, with the permission of the copyright holder.The three books are:
- BASIC Computer Games, published in 1978
- More BASIC Computer Games, published in 1978
- Big Computer Games, published in 1984
The books feature type-in games in BASIC, such as classics like Animal, Blackbox, Eliza, Hammurabi, Lunar LEM Rocket, Mugwump, and Hunt the Wumpus. Big Computer Games also features a game called Rollercoaster, a unique computer-controlled videodisc adventure game for the Apple II.
With the addition of these three titles, our friends at AtariArchives.org have reached the milestone of making 25 classic computer books available on the web. Way to go, guys!
