Lyle Syverson has released the January 2004 issue of The Lamp!, the monthly overview of messages posted on the Syndicomm Online and Delphi Apple II bulletin boards. This month’s issue also features a history of the Apple IIgs version of Wolfenstein 3D written by noted Apple II historian Steve Weyhrich.

AppleWin 1.12.3 Apple II emulator for Windows released
The latest version of AppleWin includes color TV emulation (as used in Karateka and Mindshadow), adjusted hires graphics colors, and a fix for the Mockingboard IRQ frequency problem.

Nebraska\’s AppleLinc user group meets January 9 and 10

Aurora Area Apple Core to meet on January 8
The Aurora, Illinois, AAAC will meet on January 8th at 7:00 PM. The program Will Writer will be demonstrated, and there will be a discussion of producing legal documents using the Apple II.
